SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it's alarmed about the superior range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the read more area daily. The support place created for intervention ordeals a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to allow the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
